This learning Material is a Phet simulation where students will match two fractions that are equivalent.

Steps to go to phet simulation:

This learning material is useful as students can learn about equivalent fractions in fun ways. It breaks the monotonous traditional teaching and learning style. For this activity students get to learn about fraction with hands on experience. They need to balance the fraction with the fraction that is presented with the diagram. If they balanced right they get a smile and if they balanced wrongly it does not show the smiling face. Once they balance all correctly they get to move to the next higher level.

 

This material can be used during lesson as an activity for students to carry out. Teacher can take the students to phet website and let them carry out the activity. It can also be used during conclusion to check student’s learning on the topic.

 

Activity Instruction

ü  Look at the fractions.

ü  Drag a number fraction and place it on one of the containers.

ü  Drag a diagram fraction that represents the number fraction and place it on the other container.

ü  If you are correct, you will get a smile.

ü  If you are wrong you don’t get the smiling face and you will have to try again.

This learning Material is a PPT simulation where students will have to carry out the experiment. I created it using power point presentation. I have used different shapes and color fills to make the cylinder, oil, water, honey, test tube and cork look realistic. I have then animated and made adjustments with timing so that it would appear on its own. I have also inserted textboxes and pictures that I downloaded from Google.

This learning material is useful as students can carry out the experiment on their own without the help of the teacher. On top of that it can be carried out with the materials that is available in their locality such as bottles.

 

This material can be used during lesson as an activity for students to carry out. Teacher can show this material in the classroom and let students carry out the experiment following the instructions. It can also be used in lesson conclusion to remind them the steps for the experiment.

This teaching learning material is a simulation for class 5 students for social studies subject. I created it in a power point presentation using different shapes and color fills. Using those shapes I made road, vehicle, boat, aero-plane and water. I then animated it making adjustments in the timings so that it would appear on its own without having to click.

This learning material will help students understand the types of transportation especially in Bhutan, these are land, water and air transportation. When they write examples of the three types of transportation, they will know more since they will discuss in groups. It is also beneficial for visual learners as we can see those transportations visually. This activity is beneficial for long term learning since these types of transportation is seen in Bhutan. On top of that it is beneficial for weaker students since they are allowed to discuss and write.

This material can be used as lesson input to teach students the three types of transportations in Bhutan. It can also be used to give activity such as letting them write or draw examples of land, water and air transportations. It can also be used during conclusion to sum up the lesson by showing the ppt so that students will remember what they learned about in the lesson input.

This learning material is a quiz for class I students. I made it using power point presentation. It consists of 3 slides; first slide consists of the questions, second contains the congratulation and tick picture and the last slide contains the sorry and wrong picture. I have hyperlinked the correct answers to the second slide which writes congratulation and wrong answers to the third slide which says sorry. Then I have hyperlinked the textboxes which writes 'back' to the first slide which contains the questions. This learning material will help students know the past tenses through fun way like quiz. It is useful because it can be attended outside the classroom too. It is also easier for teachers to design such activity. On top of that, students will understand the topic better as it is a hands on experience activity.

 This quiz can be used not only in the class but also at home. It can be used during introduction to check how much students know, during lesson activity or also during closure to check how much they understood the lesson. The teacher can send in the class chats and let students do as homework. This quiz can be done individually, in pairs or in groups.

This teaching learning material is a guessing game where students will guess the names of the animal by listening to the sounds. It is made using power point presentation. I have downloaded the pictures and sounds from goggle and then inserted it in the slide. I also inserted textbox under the pictures which writes the names of those animals. I made adjustments with regards to the timing so that animations can come one after another on time. The domestic animals that I used are cat, sheep, cow, horse, and dog.

This learning material will help students recognize the real sounds of the animals. They will also know the names of the domestic animals and the features they possess. Through this activity, students will learn better because it is audio and visual based learning activity. They will hear the sound of the animals and also see their pictures after a while thus helping them check if their guesses are correct. This will in turn help them learn and remember for longer duration.

This TLM can be used in the class during lesson activity for class I students. After the teacher has taught the lesson, they can then use this learning material as an activity. They can use it with the whole class, in groups, in pairs or individually as per teachers or students' convenience. It can also be used in conclusion to review students' understanding on the topic. The scores they score will indicate their understanding on the topic.

She is a girl studying at Paro College of Education. She stays as a day scholar around the college area with her classmate as neighbors. She is from Zhemgang particularly Trong. She is of average height, weight, and in her mid-twenties. 

She likes bright colors and things that shine. Therefore chooses mostly colorful and attractive things. She enjoys spending her time being with her loved ones.
