This teaching learning material is a simulation for class 5 students for social studies subject. I created it in a power point presentation using different shapes and color fills. Using those shapes I made road, vehicle, boat, aero-plane and water. I then animated it making adjustments in the timings so that it would appear on its own without having to click.

This learning material will help students understand the types of transportation especially in Bhutan, these are land, water and air transportation. When they write examples of the three types of transportation, they will know more since they will discuss in groups. It is also beneficial for visual learners as we can see those transportations visually. This activity is beneficial for long term learning since these types of transportation is seen in Bhutan. On top of that it is beneficial for weaker students since they are allowed to discuss and write.

This material can be used as lesson input to teach students the three types of transportations in Bhutan. It can also be used to give activity such as letting them write or draw examples of land, water and air transportations. It can also be used during conclusion to sum up the lesson by showing the ppt so that students will remember what they learned about in the lesson input. 

Activity Instruction

Students will:

Ø  Look at the slides carefully.

Ø  Then write few examples of land, water and air transportation in the book.

Ø  Students are allowed to discuss in groups.
